“ Great service, lovely food. Would definitely recommend. ”
“ Absolutely wonderful food and hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Food came to the table together and hot. What we liked most was the food was proportional and a nice size with shared veg etc. However for those who may of had a slightly bigger appetite than others, it was asked if we would like more chips and veg. That in my opinion is a good idea as it less waste rather than sending out a massive plate of food and people unable to finish leaving lots. A good restaurant with positive food distribution which is of high quality. Looking forward to returning. ”
“ What a lovely pub - just what you want, and more, when you go to a pub. Nice menu and very tasty food with that homemade touch, friendly service, good craic, and a lovely landlord called Simon who really sets the tone and makes all diners feel welcome. We'd been on the road for hours through terrible traffic before arriving, and the entire staff really helped us to unwind from all that. We even saw him help an elderly patron and her husband back to their car - a true gentleman. Do visit if you find yourself up near Bangor! ”
“ Had an amazing lunch here for my birthday! My family all said the food was delicious and me and my husband loved ours! We opted for fish pie and lasange amd both were homemade and sooo tasty! Really lovely decor and a lovely atmosphere. The staff made a lot of effort to wish me happy birthday! ”
“ First class food and service at very fair prices ”
“ First visit to the Cherrie pie for our family of 6, two x couples, a 7 yr old, 15 month old in high chair and 2 dogs. We were amazed at how welcome we were made to feel by Simon and the team, so very attentive. Nothing was to much trouble for them, checking we were OK and food/drinks were to our liking and even offered extra chips and salad if needed. Food was enjoyable and plentiful. Will return definitely and would highly recommend this place. Service and welcoming as it should be. Thank you. ”
“ Went with a group of 19 and we had our own room. The owners and staff couldn't be more caring and helpful and it was a change to be offered brie and beetroot tart with potatoes and salad as the veggie option. Plenty of room for parking ”
“ The food was delicious served by friendly , welcoming staff. A good find on our holiday. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. ”
